Skullcap

A member of the mint family, Chinese Skullcap is a perennial herb that flourishes in sunny, sandy, sloped habitats. It is native to South Korea, China, and Russia, and collected in the spring and autumn. The root is traditionally used by herbalists in combination with other bio-actives to "clear heat" and "purge fire". More recently, the antioxidant actives have been studied to support respiratory, joint, and mental health.
